Lean Six Sigma Curriculum Development Expert
Essential Function:
Provide expert-level development of highly complex training and educational programs for customer personnel; works under limited supervision; performs additional duties as assigned. Scenarios and exercises will be designed to maximize student participation and be directly linked to course material. Of particular importance will be the development of exercises that stress the variety of analytical methodologies including analysis of competing hypothesis, evidentiary inferential analysis, link analysis, and time/event analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce instructional products pertaining to Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and Design for Six Sigma. Include exercises and customer-specific examples in the curriculum.
- Develop detailed instructor notes for the curriculum.
- Conduct extensive liaison with customer and course instructors in order to identify specific learning objectives that will benefit from practical applications and exercises.
- Ensure curriculum can be delivered online or in a classroom setting, customizing as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university in education, training or related field of study or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
- Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs
- Expert knowledge of relevant software and computer equipment as required
- Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills
- Ability to evaluate effectiveness of training programs
- Ability to serve as technical team or task lead
- Requires 10+ years of directly related training experience.
- Previous experience as an instructor in a TRADOC environment is preferred.
- All contracted employees must possess as a minimum a valid SECRET security clearance when hired and be able to maintain this clearance throughout the life of the contract.
- Willing to travel 50+%
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Instructor Certification requirements as specified in TRADOC Regulation (TR) 350-70
- Military experience
- Graduate degree (MBA/MS)
- Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
- Experience applying Theory of Constraints

Candidates can be located anywhere in the contiguous 48 states and position does not require relocation.
